JULIANA DUNA, LAWYER AND OWNER OF USHA IMMIGRATION AND DUNA-NEES LAWYERS

Iuliana (Juliana) has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, and has made written submissions to the Federal Court of Canada. She has significant experience in all types of immigration applications, including difficult matters and dealing with CBSA, the  Canadian Immigration and Citizenship Government, and  Service Canada. She brings her extensive immigration and criminal law experience to an advocacy-based practice and assists clients with overcoming negative immigration-related decisions in Federal Court Judicial Review applications and before Immigration Tribunals such as the Immigration Division, Refugee Protection Division, and Immigration Appeal Division.

Following her passion,  Iuliana  has been working as a Canadian  Regulated Immigration Consultant since 2013. She is very committed to her professional career and to her clients.  Iuliana  was  also very dedicated to her students at the Academy of Learning Career College here in Calgary where she instructed five out of ten immigration modules for the Immigration Consultant Diploma Program .

She completed her Canadian legal education through the NCA program where she obtained her Certificate of Qualification in 2021.She is an Active Member of the Alberta Law Society. Iuliana has a strong legal background and vast experience in the legal field and especially in immigration law for more than 20  years. She specialized in immigration and criminal law. She speaks fluent English, Romanian, French, and Dutch.

Iuliana (Juliana)  holds a Bachelor in Law degree granted to her by the University of Bucharest, Romania, and a Master’s degree from the University of Antwerpen in Belgium. She possesses an Immigration Consultant Diploma from Ashton College,Vancouver.
