Profile
The Venezuelan Canadian Association of Calgary (VCAC) is a volunteer-driven, charitable organization founded in May 2000 with the goal of sharing Venezuelan culture and strengthening community connections in our city. We believe that art, culture, and education are powerful tools for building understanding and bringing people together.
Through concerts, theatre performances, film screenings, cultural festivals, workshops, and community programs, we introduce Calgarians to the rich traditions and contemporary expressions of Venezuelan and Latin American culture. Our work provides opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn, celebrate, and connect cultural pride, and a deeper appreciation of diversity.
At our core, VCAC is a bridge between communities. We create spaces where stories, traditions, and creativity can be shared, and where the educational and cultural program inspire dialogue, collaboration, and lasting relationships.
